I recently attended one a marketing course run by Damien Lovegrove. This one day seminar is absolutely excellent for photographers, not just wedding photographers. The courses have been running over at Digital Depot in Stevenage. Highly recommended - I came away full of inspiration and great ideas.

PhotoSavings.co.uk is a blog to help professional and amature photographers get the best services and offers for their businesses. PhotoSavings website was started by Ian McGraw LBIPP a photographer who found that searching for the best people to deal with at the best prices was a very time consuming process. Time that could be better spent being in touch with clients following up leads.

Offers and services that appear on PhotoSavings.co.uk are the result of genuine vetting on behalf of the author - either through having used a service or product himself or been recommended a particular service or product. However the author is also keen to talk to photographic service providers, merchants and manufacturers to forge new relationships and add high quality entries to the directory.

PhotoSavings.co.uk was born to provide a trusted business to business service. The hope is that PhotoSavings will become the first and only stop directory for photographic professionals.

Fashion students at Kingston College recently invited Ian and fellow photographer Wendy Sell to photograph their latest creations. Their project was titled ‘Little Black Dress’ and the images taken will be used for the student’s final year portfolio’s.

Unilever in Kingston-Upon-Thames currently have an exhibition with work from Ian McGraw. The exhibition, which is themed ‘Vitality’, is part of the ‘Catalyst’ programme on display in the first floor restaurant. Catalyst is a unique arts programme that uses the creative and cultural industries to engage employees and transform the way they work. The main purpose of the exhibition is to design and implement initiatives that encourage new ways of working. The work of fellow photographers Iain Clarke & Ben Wetherall are also featured in this show (click on Iain and Ben to see their respective websites).

Provided event photography services at the Royal Hospital Chelsea for the recent St Davids charity ‘Millionaires Ball’. London Metropolitan Orchestra were in attendance conducted by Barrington Pheloung.

Zynetix manufacture low power GSM network equipment. The products and images will be on display at the forthcoming 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
